What do you do?
For many years my father was the chief engineer of a power station. His work lit millions of homes. He'd throw this question at me when discussing work, and for a long time, I struggled to respond with anything like his clarity. Now I have my answer.
I give brands the ideas and words they need to achieve tangible commercial results.
I'm an award-winning London copywriter, creative director, and brand strategist. After years of leading creative departments for international agencies, I now work directly with ambitious B2B and B2C brands that need sharp strategy, bold ideas, and copywriting that drives tangible commercial results.

I've led creative departments for leading international advertising agencies, including Ogilvy and BBDO, and created campaigns for iconic global brands. My work has won numerous awards for effectiveness and creativity at prestigious shows, including Cannes Lions and D&AD Impact.
I now work directly with ambitious B2B and B2C brands, helping them to find their voices and sharpen their stories.
The bulk of my career has been spent working in the creative departments of global advertising agencies, including Ogilvy and BBDO. I worked my way up the greasy pole by repeatedly asking one question: why?
My experience has taught me to cherish irreverence. I approach every project like a kid pulling apart a teddy bear to see how it works. I dissect briefs and challenge assumptions in pursuit of better ways to hit your goals.

My process
The kick off call
A quick chat to learn about your business, audience and goals. I get clarity about what's needed so I can generate a proposal including timings and fees. You get to see if I'm the right fit.
Research
Before I craft a syllable, I like to consume as much information as possible. In addition to your briefing documents, I will do my own data dive to fill in every blank.
Creative Development
Fuelled by caffeine, imagination, and strategic insight, this is the bit where I craft and refine. The result is focused creative firepower designed to move the needle for your business.
Fine tuning
Two rounds of revisions are included as standard. I make a point of delivering every project on time and within budget. When your name's on the door, professionalism is personal.

Location
I'm a freelance copywriter based in London, but I work with clients across the UK, and around the world. Most projects are remote, but I'm available for in-person meetings in London when needed.
